India has documented 573 new cases of Covid, with 263 individuals being diagnosed with the JN.1 sub-variant of Covid-19. Kerala accounted for half of the reported JN.1 cases. Additionally, India reported two fatalities in the last 24 hours, one each in Karnataka and Haryana. The count of active cases has risen to 4,565. Nevertheless, experts suggest that the true number of Covid-19 cases is probably considerably higher.
All the authorities are advised to take precautionary steps in their respective states.
